About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. As a Behavioural Improvement Officer, you will work with students who are facing challenges related to their behaviour, and help them to develop the skills and strategies they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Work with students to identify and address the underlying causes of their behaviour
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans to help students develop positive behaviours
- Provide one-to-one support to students to help them develop their emotional regulation skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support plans and make adjustments as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date DBS check and safeguarding children certificate
We offer a competitive salary of £90 per day, plus the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a 12-month contract.
