About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support for our server estate, including Windows 2022/2019/2016/2012.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to our internal teams and clients, resolving issues related to server estate, Active Directory, and VMware virtualization.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage deployments of new and updated applications and operating systems, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Problem Management: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging your knowledge of server hardening, CIS policies, and vulnerability fixes.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide technical training and mentoring to other team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all security and compliance requirements are met, including antivirus and security tool deployment and management.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, and user management, as well as experience with management of Windows desktop builds and application packaging technologies such as MSI.
  • Infrastructure Experience: Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure design, build, and deployment, including HA, DR, and VM deployments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software Deployment Experience: Experience with software deployment technologies such as SCCM.
  • ITIL Certification: ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
