About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support for our server estate, including Windows 2022/2019/2016/2012.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for server estate, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Active Directory, group policy, and user management.
  • Manage deployments of new and updated applications and operating systems.
  • Deploy and manage applications in Citrix VDA environment.
  • Use change, problem, incident, and release management toolset in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure compliance and industry security best practices.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and mentoring to other technical resources.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure support and delivery of business-critical services.
Requirements
  • Experience with management of Windows desktop builds.
  • Knowledge of application packaging technologies such as MSI.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure design, build, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of management of Anti-Virus and Patching Deployments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, especially Group Policy Management.
  • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
  • Experience of working effectively both individually and as part of highly productive teams in an infrastructure/application ITIL-based support environment.
  • Appreciation of business-critical real-time systems.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Able to pass background vetting process.
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels with ability to challenge senior stakeholders and say 'no' politely.
  • Ability to mentor junior personnel and provide guidance on work packages.
  • Ability to work with little or no guidance.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the analysis and ability to draw conclusions quickly in a limited timeframe.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks without a negative impact on quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in software deployment technologies such as SCCM.
  • Knowledge of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop.
