Exciting Opportunity for a Deputy Manager

We are seeking a caring and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Llanelli.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager and having joint responsibility for managing the team and the service. You will also be involved in planning rotas, managing staff teams, ensuring compliance within the service, and encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.

The ideal candidate will have a caring nature, be able to have fun and engage with the people they support, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will be working alongside an experienced service manager, developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000, full-time hours of 40 per week, and a permanent contract. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker Experience
  • Must be resilient
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care
