About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Analyst to join our Financial Crime Detection Team at Kroo Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations, investigating suspicious activity, and collaborating with external entities to address financial crime concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in the efficient management of tasks and responsibilities, ensuring seamless collaboration with the team.
  • Investigate Suspicious Activity: Analyze transaction monitoring alerts to identify and investigate potentially suspicious activities, utilizing your analytical skills to make informed decisions.
  • Support Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Detection Team Lead to achieve team objectives, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify Trends: Utilize data analysis to proactively spot emerging financial crime trends and patterns, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with External Entities: Work closely with other financial institutions and law enforcement authorities to address financial crime concerns, fostering strong relationships and driving positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • A keen interest in fraud prevention or financial crime, with any related experience being a plus.
  • An analytical mindset, with a passion for identifying patterns and trends in data.
  • A degree in Finance, Law, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Criminology, or a related field is preferred for this role.
