About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our rapidly expanding sales team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our Third Party Intermediary channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new Third Party Intermediaries, including energy consultants, brokers, and other intermediaries.
  • Work closely with our credit and finance departments, as well as our operational and front-line customer service teams, to ensure effective account management and customer service.
  • Influence the wider B2B sales strategy, focusing on maximizing sales efficiencies and introducing new products and services to meet overall B2B plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of business development and sales success in the energy sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze data to identify opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall B2B Sales strategy.
