Interim Credit Control Supervisor

As the Interim Credit Control Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to offer dedicated leadership to the credit control team.
Your goal is to elevate the credit control department into a recognized center of excellence within the organization, enhancing its visibility positively among commercial and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish standardized policies and procedures for managing credit matters within the organization.
- Lead and manage a skilled team of credit controllers.
- Oversee the complete credit control process, which includes credit assessments, setting credit limits, and negotiating terms in collaboration with senior management.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy related to credit policies and procedures.
- Manage credit insurance, update limits, and address late payment issues.
- Handle complex debt recovery cases, negotiating payment plans and settlements, and initiating legal actions when necessary.
- Provide forecasting for bad debts by evaluating the collectability of at-risk accounts.
- Generate weekly cash collection forecasts and analyze their accuracy.
- Demonstrate people management skills, including remote team management, coaching, mentoring, and conducting annual performance reviews.
- Utilize ERP/general ledger systems effectively.
- Conduct credit risk analysis and work with credit report providers.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of Credit & Collections processes, including KPIs and metrics.
- Possess advanced Excel skills, including V-Lookups and pivot tables.
