About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and drink services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following strict health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all food and drink is served in a clean and hygienic environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of working in a similar catering role, preferably in a health or social care setting.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use kitchen equipment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work as part of a team.
