Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and catering services.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in food preparation, cooking, and customer service.
- Good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of working in a similar catering role, preferably in a health or social care setting.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use kitchen equipment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early, mid, and late shifts, and alternate Saturdays.
