Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and drink services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following established recipes and health and safety guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and food service.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient and staff feedback and concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of working in a similar catering role, preferably in a health or social care setting.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use kitchen equipment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
