We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at senploy, a specialist school in the UK. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with pupils in an education setting and a passion for supporting the social and educational development of young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioural support to pupils with diverse needs, including SEMH, communication difficulties, ASD, and challenging behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans.
  • Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills, including self-regulation, self-awareness, and self-management.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting respect, empathy, and understanding among pupils and staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with students who have Special Education Needs.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualities

  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
