About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Lifting Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Lifting Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Repair and maintain lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct site surveys to advise customers on the correct selection and use of lifting equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the TIC team to maintain the hire fleet and upskill team members

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter
  • Competence in the inspection of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER/PUWER
  • LEEA qualifications are highly desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required
  • A customer-focussed approach to workload and strong attention to detail
