About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Lifting Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Lifting Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure it is safe for use
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment
  • Conduct site surveys to identify lifting equipment needs and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with the TIC team to maintain the hire fleet and provide customers with bespoke solutions
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve lifting equipment safety and efficiency

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a Lifting Engineer or Fitter
  • Competence in the inspection of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER
  • LEEA qualifications are highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach
