You will become part of a skilled team at our Coatbridge Depot, engaging in a comprehensive apprenticeship program that equips you with essential skills for a rewarding career in a dynamic industry.

Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (unpaid breaks) *Candidates under 18 will work 40 hours per week *Candidates over 18 will work 42.5 hours per week

(Hours are based on candidates being over 18)
Duration of Apprenticeship
24 Months
What Will You Be Doing?
Your daily responsibilities will be diverse, including but not limited to:
- Understanding and adhering to health & safety protocols
- Interacting with clients both at the depot and on-site
- Observing and learning from experienced technicians
- Assisting with various tasks
- Gaining insights into the organization
- Working with specialized lifting apparatus
- Familiarizing yourself with routine inspections and tests
- Utilizing platforms for recording pertinent information
- Providing support within the depot as required
Training and Qualifications
Throughout the two-year program, you will work towards achieving your Level 3 Lifting Equipment Technician Apprenticeship. This will involve a blend of in-person and online training sessions facilitated by an external training provider.
Occasional travel to training facilities may be necessary, particularly for assessments.
During your apprenticeship, you will also earn three LEEA qualifications: the LEEA Foundation Certificate, the LEEA Lifting Accessories Course Diploma, and the LEEA Manual Lifting Machines Diploma.
Training will consist of two online sessions each month, complemented by several in-person visits to the training facility for hands-on learning experiences.
