Part-Time Payroll Administrator Opportunity

This is an excellent chance for a part-time payroll administrator to join a chartered accountancy practice based in Kingston. They are a multi-partner firm serving a large number of clients locally and across the wider country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of payroll work
  • Process payrolls in accordance with Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Payroll cut-off schedules
  • Complete and sign off payroll checklists
  • Process HMRC tax code amendments prior to payroll processing
  • Handle queries from HMRC
  • Process and upload pension submissions
  • Manage a portfolio of payrolls, including liaising with clients and handling their queries
Requirements:

You must have prior experience in a UK-based accountancy practice or payroll bureau and be willing to commute into central Kingston.

Key skills required include:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A hard-working attitude
  • Self-driven, organized, and highly motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with confidential information professionally
