Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Co-Ordinator to join our team at Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs to our care professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our care professionals and the organization
  • Develop and maintain accurate training records for all staff
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and develop solutions
  • Provide mentorship and support to care professionals to help them achieve their personal and professional goals
  • Contribute to the development of our care team's skills and knowledge through regular training and development sessions
  • Support the implementation of new policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are trained and aware of their responsibilities
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota to provide support and guidance to care professionals as needed

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum professional experience in the care sector
  • Experience of training delivery and design
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • Relevant teaching qualification (training can be provided)
  • Level 3 Health and Social Care vocational qualification or equivalent
  • Functional Skills (Maths and English) at Level 2 minimum
