About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Heidelberg Materials UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our customers across a defined geographical region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow targeted market share, revenue, and profit.
  • Engage with existing and new customers through multiple channels, including digital media, to maintain close customer contact.
  • Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts for the relevant territory.
  • Develop and maintain long-term commercial relationships with customer accounts, supported by a customer strategy to deliver on the Market Strategy Plan (MSP).
  • Ensure business alignment between sales, operations, and logistics to enable customers to receive required products and services in a timely manner.
  • Forecast and track customer account metric achievement, and manage projects within customer relationships to meet company goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new customers in line with our local strategy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service, and work with other sales teams and colleagues to reach prospective customers.
  • Ensure account records and details are correct in Heidelberg Materials Systems (CRM, SAP), and follow sales processes.
  • Proactively use market data, including ABI, to identify profitable sales opportunities, and review Net Promoter Scores (NPS) to identify strong performance or weaknesses.
