About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Heidelberg Materials Limited. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of customer accounts across a defined geographical region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to grow targeted market share, revenue, and profit.
  • Engage with existing and new customers using multiple channels, including digital media.
  • Use a variety of digital media, including video calls, to maintain close customer contact.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation of annual sales budgets and forecasts for the relevant territory.
  • Develop and maintain long-term commercial relationships with customer accounts.
  • Enable customers to receive required products and services in a timely manner by ensuring business alignment.
  • Forecast and track customer account metric achievement.
  • Manage projects within customer relationships, working to carry out customer goals while meeting company goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new customers in line with our local strategy.
  • Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
  • Collaborate with other sales teams and colleagues to reach prospective customers.
  • Ensure account records and details are correct in our CRM and sales processes are followed.
  • Proactively use market data to identify profitable sales opportunities.
  • Review Net Promoter Scores to identify strong performance or weaknesses and collaborate with colleagues to drive collective performance and improved customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in sales, management, or engineering.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
