Solace Womens Aid is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies that align with our mission to end the harm caused by gender-based violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee Income Generation, Public Affairs, Partnerships, and Communications to support our mission.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our goals, while ensuring transparent governance and robust reporting mechanisms.
  • Oversee a team of twelve and set and achieve ambitious growth targets for statutory contracts, grants, and unrestricted income.
  • Enhance our reputation through effective public affairs and partnerships.
  • Ensure our brand and communications strategies are effective, leveraging digital technology to expand public awareness and support fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • Experience of working at a senior level in a similar role.
  • Experience in income generation.
  • Experience of leadership and management at this level.
