Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Peridot Recruit Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Aberdeen and Dundee depots, ensuring seamless processes that meet customer demands while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure all operations run smoothly, delivering outstanding service while meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and develop a talented team, instilling a strong culture of accountability and collaboration, empowering staff to excel and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies that align with the company's goals, ensuring sustainable growth and enhanced operational performance.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial targets are met while maximizing resource efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive initiatives that put the customer first, ensuring that their needs are met through effective operational practices and superior service delivery.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all operational processes comply with relevant regulations, including Health & Safety and quality standards, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- You are a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can make tough decisions with confidence.
- You have proven experience in operations management or a related field, with a track record of successfully leading teams and achieving operational targets.
- Your strategic mindset allows you to analyze situations, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and inspire your team.
- You are commercially astute, understanding how to balance operational efficiency with customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Experience in a service-oriented business or retail management with a strong operational background.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve KPIs and operational excellence.
- Strong skills in budget management and financial oversight, with an ability to drive cost efficiencies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages and operational compliance in areas such as Health & Safety and quality control.
- Willingness to travel between the Aberdeen and Dundee depots as necessary.
