About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximize their clinical skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to physiotherapy staff, including managing appointment systems and patient records.
  • Participate in pre-operative assessments and clinical treatments under the supervision of a physiotherapist or senior physiotherapist.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with CHG Physiotherapy audit requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to reassure patients and encourage them to undertake exercise programs.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
