We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our Primary & Community Mental Health Team (PCMH). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs, focusing on strength and assets to help people achieve their goals.
The post holder will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health practitioners, clinical psychologists, and psychotherapists, to deliver high-quality care to patients. This will involve assessing needs, providing extended brief interventions, and working with patients to develop a shared understanding of their complex issues and how they can be addressed.
The ideal candidate will have completed the British Psychological Society accredited CAP apprenticeship training programme, including EPA to IFA standards. They will also have experience of working with individuals with serious mental illness and a strong understanding of the importance of co-production and co-development in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients
- Assess needs and provide extended brief interventions
- Develop a shared understanding of complex issues with patients and explore social, psychological, and therapeutic options to address them
- Work closely with experts-by-experience, local communities, and other stakeholders to co-produce and co-develop services
