Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Sheffield Gender Identity Clinic. As a Clinical Psychologist - Gender Dysphoria Specialist, you will provide psychological therapy to adults with gender dysphoria, taking a trauma-informed approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments of gender dysphoria and provide opinions on suitability and readiness for surgery.
- Offer supervision to other staff, including Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement.
- Provide psychological therapy to service users with mental health issues impacted by their gender experience.
About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing specialist healthcare to transgender and non-binary individuals. You will be based at the Porterbrook Clinic, working closely with administration staff, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
