Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service team in Sheffield. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women and their families, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women and their families, using evidence-based interventions and a trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to women with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of trauma or attachment difficulties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with women and their families in a perinatal mental health setting, including those with complex mental health needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex information to service users and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of research methodology and the ability to contribute to service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
