Job Summary:

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert financial guidance to help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Review financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for growth.
  • Tax Planning: Prepare tax computations, self-assessment returns, and corporation tax returns to ensure clients are in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of client work, including reviewing work in progress levels, undertaking client billing, and managing deadlines and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 6 and review the work of trainees to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with clients to develop business plans, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to achieve their financial goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience with at least two years at manager level gained in an accounting practice.
  • Experience: A good working knowledge of a wide variety of business accounts, income, corporation, and capital gains taxes, and accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
