About the Role:

In the capacity of Senior Operations Leader, you will be instrumental in managing all facets of the organization’s operations from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Development and Implementation: Formulate operational strategies aimed at enhancing capacity, driving expansion, and fulfilling business objectives.
  • Daily Operations Management: Supervise design, procurement, scheduling, project oversight, and installations to guarantee smooth coordination.
  • Process Enhancement: Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and cost efficiencies.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and lead a team of operations professionals, cultivating a culture of high performance and ongoing improvement.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess key performance indicators and metrics, devising action plans for enhancement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departmental leaders to ensure operations align with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • A demonstrated history of success with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations or general management position within a dynamic, £15M+ construction-related project management environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • A comprehensive understanding of business operations and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience in steel fabrication is advantageous but not mandatory.
