Key Responsibilities- Assist with new patient health checks, including taking vital signs and conducting routine examinations
- Perform ECG recordings, phlebotomy, and spirometry as required
- Provide chaperoning duties and support with laboratory sample processing
- Maintain and sterilize surgical equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
- Assist with vaccine and cold chain storage, monitoring, and recording
- Support with surgical equipment re-stocking and stock rotation
- Clear and re-stock consulting rooms, ensuring a smooth patient flow
- Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during, and after patient care interventions
- Assist with patient assessment and surveillance, identifying potential health concerns
- Support with specific clinical activities for named patients, as delegated by healthcare professionals
- Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in a relevant healthcare discipline
- Immunisation and Vaccination accredited
- Phlebotomy accredited
- Experience working with the general public and as a Healthcare Assistant
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing competing priorities and working under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email
