Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation Project Manager to join our team. As an Innovation Project Manager at TourAxis, you will have the opportunity to lead projects that explore new technologies, business models, and traveler experiences. Your goal will be to manage projects that not only meet but exceed traveler expectations, setting new standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Innovation Projects: Manage projects from ideation to execution and delivery
  • Advocate for projects and secure necessary support and resources
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success
  • Implement Innovation Frameworks: Use methodologies like Design Thinking and Agile to guide project processes
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track performance, metrics, and report to stakeholders
  • Manage Risks: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with standards
  • Assess project outcomes and apply lessons learned to future projects
Requirements
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing projects from conception to completion. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term goals and outcomes
  • Leadership and Team Building: Skills in recruiting, hiring, and developing talent
  • Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to generate and implement creative solutions
  • Ability to align projects with broader business objectives and long-term goals
  • In-depth knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, including emerging trends
  • Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
