Export Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
Right Now Recruitment is seeking an experienced Export Operator to join our team. As an Export Operator, you will be responsible for providing a full start-to-finish documentation of exports, monitoring and managing multiple shared mailboxes, and discussing with airlines and handling agents to arrange all bookings of shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of exports, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Monitor and manage multiple shared mailboxes, prioritizing tasks and responding to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with airlines and handling agents to arrange bookings of shipments, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
- Complete costing and invoicing of operational finance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide pre-alerts to customers and network, ensuring timely communication and updates.
- Ensure all documents are completed and prepared for secure cargo and handover to transport, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience working within freight forwarding.
- Proven knowledge of the air industry and customer requirements.
- Ability to make sound decisions, aligning with company standards.
- Customs knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapting to changing circumstances.
