Right Now Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AOG Operator. This exciting opportunity will involve working with our client based in the UK, providing exceptional export logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of aerospace and customer requirements, ensuring seamless export documentation processes.
- Regularly review and analyze import data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize strong communication and prioritization skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines, ensuring seamless collaboration with the team.
- Monitor and manage the mailbox, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with airlines to arrange bookings and collections for shipments, ensuring efficient logistics operations.
- Provide customers with regular updates on shipping details, ensuring transparency and excellent customer service.
- Manage operational finance, including costing and invoicing, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience in freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with company standards.
- Proven knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, with the ability to navigate complex export documentation.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
Location: UK
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off
Hours: Rotating hours, including 19:00 – 07:00 and 07:00 – 19:00
Salary: £33,000 - £34,000 + £4,000 shift allowance
