An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Nursing Unit Leader to join a distinguished care facility. This establishment is recognized as one of the foremost healthcare providers in the UK.

The care home is specifically designed to cater to the needs of elderly individuals requiring both general and specialized dementia care.

**Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC Pin to be eligible for this position.**

As the Nursing Unit Leader, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing motivational leadership to nursing and caregiving staff while ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical and personal care.
  • Acting as the nursing authority within the home, blending your clinical expertise with managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Focusing on residents with intricate needs, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations, making informed decisions, and upholding the highest standards of clinical governance through regular audits of practices and procedures.
  • Conducting care plan development and assessments.
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver personalized care tailored to each resident.

The following qualifications and experiences are preferred for this role:

  • Previous experience in a comparable position.
  • The capacity to engage with service users to accurately assess their needs and provide outstanding care services.
  • A solid understanding of CQC standards.
  • The ability to cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with external healthcare professionals, families, visitors, and team members.
  • Strong clinical competencies.
  • Encouraging active participation of service users and their families in the development, agreement, and evaluation of care programs within the facility.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum. This is a permanent full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, primarily during day shifts. In recognition of your dedication and hard work, you will enjoy a range of generous benefits:
