The care home is purposefully designed to cater to elderly individuals requiring both general and specialized dementia care.

**Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC Pin to be eligible for this position.**

As the Nursing Unit Leader, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing motivational leadership to nursing and care staff while ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical and personal care.
  • Acting as the nursing authority within the facility, blending your clinical expertise with managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Focusing on residents with intricate needs, necessitating adherence to current guidelines, making significant decisions, and upholding the highest standards of clinical governance, alongside regular audits of practices and procedures.
  • Developing and assessing care plans.
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver personalized care to all residents.

The following qualifications and experiences are preferred for this role:

  • Previous experience in a comparable position.
  • The ability to engage effectively with service users to ascertain their needs and provide outstanding care services.
  • A solid understanding of CQC standards.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining strong relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Strong clinical competencies.
  • Encouraging active participation of service users and their families in the development, agreement, and evaluation of care programs within the facility.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum. This role is a permanent full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week during day shifts. In recognition of your dedication and hard work, you will enjoy a range of generous benefits:
