Exciting Opportunity for an Air Source Heat Pump Technician

Liberty is seeking a dedicated Air Source Heat Pump Technician to support our operations on the Havebury contract. This full-time permanent position involves a commitment of 40 hours per week, with additional on-call responsibilities. In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, along with a company van, fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the execution of work on-site, including hot water cylinders, solar thermal systems, and heat pumps.
  • Performing general repairs on central heating systems.
  • Coordinating labor and materials effectively.
  • Providing technical and practical support through on-site supervision.
  • Conducting fault-finding analysis, maintenance, and repairs for both commercial and residential heating systems.
  • Executing installation and upgrade tasks for heating, sanitation, plumbing, and HVAC equipment on both planned and reactive bases to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in Air Source Heat Pump operations, with essential ASHP/multifuel experience. Recognized formal training with relevant craft qualifications, such as Domestic Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds equivalents, is required. Additional qualifications in Water Regulations, Solar, and RFQ L3 are desirable, as is an F-Gas qualification.

A full clean driving license is mandatory, and electrical qualifications (17th/18th edition) along with control re-wiring experience will be advantageous.
