Exciting Opportunity for an Air Source Heat Pump Technician

Liberty is seeking a dedicated Air Source Heat Pump Technician to support our operations on the Havebury contract. This full-time, permanent position involves a commitment of 40 hours per week, along with on-call responsibilities. In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, plus on-call pay, a company van, and a fuel card, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of onsite work, including hot water cylinders, solar thermal systems, and heat pumps.
  • Perform general repairs on central heating systems.
  • Coordinate labor and materials effectively.
  • Provide onsite supervision, offering both technical and practical support.
  • Conduct fault analysis, maintenance, and repairs for both commercial and residential heating systems.
  • Implement installation and upgrades for heating, sanitation, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Adhere to relevant regulatory standards and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in Air Source Heat Pump technology, with essential ASHP/multifuel experience. Recognized formal training and relevant craft qualifications, such as Domestic Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds equivalents, are required. Additional qualifications in Water Regulations, Solar, and RFQ L3 are desirable, while an F-Gas qualification is a plus. A thorough understanding of current legislation and regulations is essential.

A full clean driving license is required, and electrical qualifications (17th/18th edition) along with control re-wiring experience will be advantageous.
