Job Title: School Safeguarding Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Safeguarding Officer to join our team at Platinum Recruitment Consultancy. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns to ensure pupils are protected from harm.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other agencies to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
  • Work closely with teachers, the Local Authority, and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
  • Provide administrative support, including word processing, mail sorting, and filing.
  • Report safeguarding concerns to the Safeguarding Lead to ensure oversight and coordination.
Requirements:
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
