About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Administrator to join our team at Hays PLC. As a Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Designated Safeguarding Person in ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils in our Secondary School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Person with all administrative tasks related to school safeguarding and child protection.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Liaise with external agencies, parents, and staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support for safeguarding-related meetings, training, and events.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in school administration, preferably in a safeguarding or pastoral role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding principles, policies, and procedures in schools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
