You will collaborate with a team of qualified and semi-qualified financial professionals who will support you in your journey within the finance sector. For those new to the industry, upon successful completion of a probationary period, the organization will sponsor your AAT qualification.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in our mission to be the premier residential property management firm by:

  • Overseeing the financial operations for a designated portfolio of properties
  • Providing precise financial statements and documentation to our clients
  • Conducting an annual analytical review of expenditures for your assigned properties
  • Preparing a comprehensive annual set of financial accounts
  • Addressing inquiries from auditors, clients, and team members.

This position reports directly to the Financial Accounting Team Leader.

About You

You are currently engaged in a customer service or administrative capacity and are keen to develop a career in finance.

Possessing strong administrative capabilities acquired in an office setting, you are well-organized and adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently.

You have a natural affinity for numbers, and working with financial data is second nature to you. Proficient in IT, you are comfortable learning new software systems and have advanced skills in MS Excel, enabling you to manipulate data effectively.

You are a confident communicator, able to articulate information clearly and accurately both in writing and verbally, and you excel at building productive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.

Your customer-centric approach thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Main Duties

  • Timely delivery of year-end financial accounts to residents
  • Executing necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process
  • Resolving account-related issues while ensuring high-quality service for clients
  • Meeting departmental productivity targets and contributing to team and organizational objectives
  • Collaborating effectively with auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process and achieve optimal outcomes for our clients
  • Maintaining a proactive stance regarding audits and accounts, engaging with analysts and managers on any areas of concern
  • Taking full ownership of your professional development and contributing positively to the team through innovative ideas, tested processes, or feedback from colleagues and external parties.
