You will collaborate with a team of qualified and semi-qualified financial professionals who will support you throughout your career journey. For those new to the industry, upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, the organization will sponsor your AAT qualification.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in our mission to be the premier residential property management firm by:

  • Overseeing the financial operations for a designated portfolio of properties
  • Providing precise financial statements and documentation to our clients
  • Conducting an annual analytical review of expenditures for your assigned properties
  • Preparing a comprehensive annual set of financial accounts
  • Addressing inquiries from auditors, clients, and team members.

This position reports directly to the Financial Accounting Team Leader.

About You

You are currently engaged in a customer service or administrative capacity and are keen to develop a career in finance.

Your strong organizational skills, honed in an office setting, enable you to manage your workload efficiently. You possess a natural aptitude for numbers and have a solid foundation in IT, with proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to manipulate data effectively.

You are an articulate communicator, capable of conveying information clearly and building strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.

Your customer-centric approach thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Main Duties

  • Timely delivery of year-end financial accounts to residents
  • Executing necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process
  • Resolving account-related issues while providing exceptional service to clients
  • Meeting departmental productivity targets and contributing to team and organizational objectives
  • Collaborating with auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process and achieve optimal outcomes for clients
  • Maintaining a proactive stance on audits and accounts, engaging with analysts and managers on any concerns
  • Taking ownership of your professional development and contributing positively to the team through innovative ideas and constructive feedback.
