Production Quality Control Manager

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a highly skilled Production Quality Control Manager to join our team at site D. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our team, as well as identifying and mitigating potential health and safety risks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the production team in maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Lead a team of Champions in controlling product quality and standards
  • Communicate team objectives and goals, and ensure the Champions team completes tasks to agreed standards and specifications
  • Represent the business at customer sites and premises
  • Conduct customer-quality panels and audits to ensure compliance with contractual and business standards
  • Provide feedback to peer managers on concerns and benefits to identified standards and processing
  • Work with the Operational and Technical teams on specifications
  • Handle first-level HR responsibilities for the team, including return to work, absence management, and performance management
Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Food Safety Level 4 certification
  • IOSH Managing Safety certification
  • Internal Auditing and Root Cause Analysis skills
  • Understanding of Microbiology and ability to travel to customers on short notice
  • Ability to lead customer visits on-site and intermediate to expert level in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
