Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team at Huntress. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchase Ledger team to ensure that all supplier invoices are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and code invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Perform general finance administration tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Respond to invoice queries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Post invoices and obtain approval for sign-off as required
  • Ensure that suppliers are paid in accordance with company policies and procedures to avoid any inaccuracies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Administrator role
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience within a logistics or transport company is an advantage but not essential
