Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Clinical Nurse Practitioner, your duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including:
Providing clinical leadership for the primary care team, which consists of both registered and non-registered professionals Serving as a role model by maintaining a professional appearance and upholding high standards at all times. Collaborating with the team to ensure patient safety, manage complex cases, and apply the latest treatment methodologies in patient care. Taking accountability for your practice, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independently of medical intervention. Required Qualifications & Experience
Registered Nurse with NMC - Adult or Mental Health specialization Qualification as an Independent/Supplementary Prescriber Master’s degree in Advanced Practice Proven experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner Demonstrated ability to implement local and national healthcare policies High levels of clinical expertise in decision-making and judgmentWorking in secure environments presents unique challenges, yet it is also one of the most fulfilling settings for healthcare professionals. Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Clinical Nurse Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will need to possess expert clinical skills and demonstrate sound judgment in assessing and managing a wide range of complex patient issues. You will provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, which includes a diverse group of registered and non-registered professionals, such as mental health and substance misuse practitioners. You will act as a role model, ensuring professional standards are maintained at all times.
Supporting senior clinicians on-site, you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients. As a clinical expert, you will work collaboratively with the team to ensure patient safety, manage complex cases, and apply the most current treatment methodologies in patient care.
