Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wessex Children's Hospice Trust (Naomi House). As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and young adults with life-limiting conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage the care needs of children and young adults with complex health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to families and carers to promote independence and self-management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Experience of working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a hospice or palliative care setting.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Independent and supplementary prescribing qualification.
  • Registration with NHSBSA as a prescriber.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
