Job Title: Buddy Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Service Care Solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for training prisoners to provide support and care to their peers, promoting a culture of wellbeing and reducing the risk of harm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train prisoners to provide support and care to their peers
  • Develop and implement training programmes to promote wellbeing and reduce harm
  • Work closely with prison staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the Buddy Programme
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the programme and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a prison or similar setting
  • Knowledge of health and social care principles and practices
  • Ability to train and support prisoners to provide care and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
