About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our call centre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide timely and effective support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Represent the Metro Bank brand and its values, ensuring that customers receive a consistent and high-quality experience.
  3. Advise customers on various banking services, including balance enquiries, payments, internet banking, and card management.
  4. Update our systems accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer interactions are recorded and documented.
  5. Follow established processes to ensure customer safety and security.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  2. Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and Metro Bank's customers.
  4. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  5. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and varying shift patterns.
  6. Minimum of 6 months experience in handling customer service queries and operating in an environment with controlled processes.
