Trusts and Tax Attorney - 3 Years + PQE

Our client, a well-established firm with a rich history and a presence across the UK and Europe, is seeking a seasoned Trusts and Tax Attorney to enhance their Private Client division on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and will work closely with the Head of Department, managing an active caseload that includes trust settlements, trust administration, and specialized tax guidance. You will play a crucial role in the Private Client team, ensuring the successful delivery of cases, uncovering new business opportunities, and elevating the team's overall profile.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of cases, primarily involving ultra-high-net-worth clients. Key duties will include:

  • Creating and managing trust settlements
  • Administering trusts
  • Providing expert tax advice throughout the trust administration process

While the focus of your role will be on trusts and taxation, a comprehensive understanding of all private client matters is expected.

In terms of compensation, the salary is competitive, reaching up to £60,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for outstanding candidates. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a 5% matched pension scheme, and a variety of additional perks. There is also the option for a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
