Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Private Client Tax & Trusts Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise in a Private Client environment and a proven track record in managing a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer trusts, including the creation of settlements and drafting necessary supplementary documentation.
• Provide specialized tax advice throughout the trust administration process.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all private client matters while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Actively contribute to business development efforts within the team or firm.
• Utilize case management systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Provide leadership and guidance to support the growth of the trusts team.
Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Partners in the department, assisting with trust settlements, administration, and related tax advice.
Team Integration:
As an integral member of the Private Client team, you will be responsible for:
• Delivering on assigned cases and identifying new opportunities.
• Enhancing the overall profile of the team.
• Attracting work in alignment with the firm’s needs.
• Achieving individual targets with minimal oversight.
• Ensuring high client satisfaction and fostering strong client relationships.
• Adhering to established quality procedures and management systems.
• Executing work in a commercially viable manner.
• Continuously developing both technical and non-technical skills to meet client and firm expectations.
Additional Requirements:
Some travel and out-of-hours work may be necessary for business development, meetings, and training.
