Credit Operations Manager

Marston Group is seeking a skilled Credit Operations Manager to enhance our financial team.
As a leading entity in the judicial services sector, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that cater to the needs of local and central government, utilities, and private sectors. Our organization is recognized for its expertise in clean air technology and integrated service delivery.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing customer interactions regarding payment agreements, while also providing essential support to the Accounts Receivable division through reporting and various projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting proactive credit management through various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Assisting the accounts receivable team as necessary.
- Completing necessary documentation for credit applications, debt write-offs, or client reimbursements.
- Preparing for and participating in monthly ledger assessments.
- Initiating actions to resolve outstanding debts, collaborating with the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Manager on challenging accounts.
- Providing cross-functional support within the Credit Control team as needed.
- Utilizing intermediate Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables).
- Demonstrating confidence in account reconciliation processes.
- Possessing an AAT or CICM qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exhibiting a performance-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Employing problem-solving skills for error detection, correction, and root cause analysis.
This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of office and remote work.
Contract Details:- Type: Fixed-term contract
- Full-time position with a generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays on a pro-rata basis.
