We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Management Specialist to join our team at Bestfood Logistics. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer accounts are paid in full and to terms, while providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including payments and outstanding balances.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any issues or concerns, and to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Monitor and analyze customer payment trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build trust and ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in credit management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a credit management or accounts receivable role, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with credit management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
