Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Resideo Technologies Inc. in Oldham, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid working pattern, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Credit Control, with a strong focus on the management of outstanding debtors. As this role involves managing customers based in the Netherlands, fluency in the Dutch language is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve monthly collection targets and manage Accounts Receivables in line with the debt collection procedure.
- Communicate with customers via telephone and email regarding outstanding debtors, credit limits, and payment terms.
- Identify high-risk accounts and take appropriate action to mitigate potential losses.
- Conduct credit reviews and approvals of credit terms and limits in accordance with company policy and SEA (schedule of executive authority).
- Review all held orders promptly and release them when appropriate, ensuring timely resolution of unapplied cash receipts.
- Escalate collection issues and work with internal teams to find mitigation.
- Maintain customer accounts in cooperation with the Customer Master Team.
- Provide Accounts Receivables information and initiate meetings to determine a plan of approach.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Resolve disputes, delays, and other issues through cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to speak and work in the Dutch language.
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles.
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with analysis and technical skills.
- Previous experience in a credit controller role is a plus.
- Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully, professionally, and ethically with internal and external customers.
