About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Marston Holdings Limited. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage customer relationships to resolve payment disputes and ensure timely payment of outstanding debts.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable team with reporting, data analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of credit requests, write-offs, and client refunds.
  • Prepare for and attend monthly ledger reviews to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Initiate proceedings to recover outstanding debts, working closely with the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Manager as needed.
  • Provide cross-functional support to the Credit Control team as required.
Requirements
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Confident in accounts reconciliation and financial analysis.
  • AAT or CICM qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Performance-driven and keen to exceed expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to detect, correct, and analyze errors.
